Our Company

Founded in 1967 as a medical products distributor, Valleylab focused on product development by designing, manufacturing and marketing advanced electrosurgery systems and accessories worldwide. In 1998, Valleylab was acquired by U.S. Surgical, which was acquired by Tyco International that same year. In 2007, Tyco Healthcare split from Tyco International and became the independent company Covidien. In 2011, the Energy-based Devices and Surgical Devices divisions of Covidien merged to became the Surgical Solutions Group. Our ongoing research and product development continues to provide solutions for challenging surgical problems. We are unsurpassed in creating products to increase safety in the OR for both the patient and surgical staff.
