The ability to deliver standard or argon-enhanced coagulation and cutting in one instrument lets the multifunction ArgonPlus™ handset provide unprecedented surgical flexibility for open and laparoscopic procedures.

The ArgonPlus™ handset has a retractable electrode design. This facilitates argon-enhanced coagulation and protects the laparoscopic electrode tip from damage when being inserted or withdrawn from the cannula.

The selection of retractable ArgonPlus™ electrodes includes blade and needle electrodes for open procedures and laparoscopic electrodes in a choice of tip configurations. Flexible coagulation electrodes are also available in a variety of lengths.
