Tungsten Microsurgical Needles

Introducing microsurgical tungsten needles from Valleylab. These electrodes offer improved cutting and coagulation performance, while minimizing thermal spread. Microsurgical needles offer surgeons the precision they need for fine dissection in a wide variety of procedures.

Precision

The needle’s heat-resistant tungsten tip maintains its sharpness throughout the procedure, enabling fine, precise tissue dissection at very low power settings.

Enhanced Performance

Tungsten microsurgical needles offer greater precision at lower power settings than traditional stainless steel needles in both Cut and Coag modes, virtually eliminating electrode drag and reducing thermal damage.

Improved Safety

The needle’s protective high temperature insulation extends to within 3 mm of the electrode tip, guarding against accidental tissue contact and burns. The unique Safety Sleeve™ feature of the E1465B reduces the risk of alternate site burns, especially in procedures like tonsillectomies.

Versatility

Tungsten microsurgical needles are compatible with most electrosurgical pencils and come in a selection of five lengths and angles, allowing the surgeon to choose the electrode appropriate for each procedure.
